The Diocese of Fort Worth 50th Anniversary Celebration Mass
The Diocese of Fort Worth celebrated Mass on August 21, 2019 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diocese. All parishes and schools that comprise the 23, 950 square mile diocese were in attendance with students, faculty and families. The evening began with the procession of parishes and schools. Mrs. Macias, along with four students, represented Saint Andrew by carrying the banner during the procession. Bishop Olson's homily, "The Eucharist Makes Us The Church", was well-received by the almost 3,000 people in attendance. The commemorative mass was a stirring and inspirational beginning to the new school year and a beautiful way to celebrate our Catholic faith.
