Week of May 14-18
No spelling. Study science diagram of heart for quiz on Tuesday of next week. Religion quiz (unit 5) next Monday over chapters 17-20. Class voted to do this Monday rather than Thursday because of the field trip. There is a game on line that allows the students to place the correct name over the part of the heart. There are about 8 names that aren't required for the quiz next week but the rest apply. The web site is http://www.purposegames.com/game/label-the-heart-quiz The students played it in class today as we reviewed.
Our field trip is Friday. The students need to wear their school uniform. The boys can go without ties. We were going to have the students wear jeans but there were too many variables in dress. The idea is that we can quickly spot our students and of course to represent our school. Our drivers are Mrs. Buley, Mrs. Petrilli, Mrs. Gernhauser, Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Kallson and Mrs. Benkowski. I will have the names of the students that they will be driving with Mrs. Harrington on Friday. Plan to be here around 8:00 and we will leave about 8:30. All students need a sack lunch that can stand the heat for a few hours, and some water.
