This class has been moved to the morning.
- Next Book Report is due Tuesday, February 7. It is a Book Report recipe: 5 steps to a good book written on recipe cards (index cards can be used). Check the syllabus for details. I will go over the details in class.
- We are studying "drama" for the next few weeks. The students will work in groups to write stage directions for The Lady and the Tiger. They will also write a short play.
- At the end of the unit the students will role-read The Phantom Tollbooth.
Vocabulary quiz over Unit 6 words will be on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
I handed out the words and directions for the vocabulary story today (1-11-12). This story is based on selected words from Units 4-6. It is a TEST grade, and late papers will not be accepted.
