1) Thank you to all of the Lewis and Clark volunteers. The kids had a great time; we couldn't have done it without you.

Week of April 30rd
1) School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. for Mr. Hall's funeral. Students still left on campus at 1:15 p.m. will go to after school care in the caferteria. It would be nice for students who will be attending the funeral to wear their school uniform to the service. It would mean so much to Mrs. Hall.
2) Progress reports go home this week. Only one month until the end of school!
3) Fourth grade music program will be at 2 p.m. in the gym.
4) May Crowning will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the church. Please bring flowers. If a vase is sent, please label it clearly so it can be returned to you.
5) Second grade Mass on Wednesday. This Mass will also celebrate their First Communion. Father Luke is the scheduled celebrant. Please send items for Social Ministries.
6) Noon dismissal on Friday for faculty inservice.
7) Spirit Day on Friday.
8) Butterfly Ball in the gym from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Week of April 23rd
1) School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. for Mr. Kershaw's funeral. Students still left on campus at 1:15 p.m. will go to after school care in the caferteria.
2) Father Dan is scheduled to celebrate Mass on Wednesday. Please bring food for social ministries.
3) Student council speeches will be held Friday afternoon in the church. The exact time is still being determined.

Week of April 16th
1) Thank you for coming to the auction Saturday evening. The fifth grade project was a hit and raised quite a bit of money for the school. A huge thank you to Mrs. Hucklebridge (Logan's mom) for her time and talent.
2) I had a great time in Boston with the other 10,000 Catholic educators from around the world. The professional development seminars were informative and the collaboration with others brought about some new ideas for the classroom. Boston would be wonderful place for a family vacation especially since the fifth graders are finishing the study of U.S. history but will explore it again in 8th grade.
3) Mass on Wednesday will be celebrated by Father Tom. Please bring food items for social ministries.
4) Spirit Day and coke sale will be on Friday.
5) Sixth grade student council members will be speaking to the fifth graders on Monday about the upcoming student council elections. Information will be sent via e-mail to the parents.
Week of April 9th
1) I will be out this week at the NCEA in Boston. Mrs. Price will be my substitute.

Week of April 2nd
Holy Week
1) This will be a short week due to Holy Week. Remember noon dismissal on Thursday, no school on Friday, and no school on Monday, April 9th.
2) Mass on Wednesday is scheduled to be celebrated by Father Luke. Please remember items for social ministries.
3) Progress reports will go home with the students on Wednesday.
4) The Passion will be presented by the 8th grade students on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Week of March 26th:
1) Wednesday is our field trip to Holy Family for the Fifth Grade Vocation Day. Boys need to remember to wear Mass attire. Bring a sack lunch; drinks and cookies will be provided.

4) Uniform Resale on Friday after school in the gym.

1) The Stephen Breen Basketball Tournament continues this week. Thank you for all your support of this event. It will continue through Saturday, March 10th.

4) Don't forget about Spirit Games at Nolan this coming Sunday, March 4th. Mass begins at 11 a.m. with Bishop Vann. If you don't register before Sunday, you can still pay at the gate on Sunday.

2) Ash Wednesday services are on Wednesday from 2 - 3 in the church. No Mass is scheduled for this day, but boys still need to wear Mass uniform which includes the tie.

3) Don't foget registration for returning students and siblings of returning students is due this week. You should have received your registration information on-line. If not, please contact the school office.
Week of January 30th:
1) Catholic Schools Week is upon us--Open House was Sunday--thank you to all who attended.
2) Western wear/out-of-uniform on Monday fo those who attended Open House and picked up your pass.
3) Father Tom will celebrate Mass on Wednesday. Prospective parents will be touring the school in the morning. They are invited to attend Mass on Wednesday. Please send food for Mass.
4) We will visit the Book Fair Monday afternoon; however, it will be open all week except Friday.
5) Grandparent's Day is Thursday. Grandparent's are welcome to sign-out their grandchild/children in the grandchild/children's homeroom at any point during the day.
6) Thursday is a noon dismissal.
7) Friday --NO SCHOOL unless you have a conference scheduled. Students MUST attend with their parent(s). Conference forms went home last Thursday. Please return if you haven't done so already.

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 28TH
I pray that all of you had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving break. We have a busy three weeks ahead of us with the start of Advent and the last three weeks of the quarter! Some items to note for the upcoming week are as follows:
1) Geography Bee preliminary round will be Monday morning in homeroom. The final round is set for Tuesday, December 6th.
2) Please send items for the Advent trees in the front foyer. Items needed for the Advent trees are listed on the Wildcat Weekly News.
3) Please continue to send items for social ministries during our weekly masses. Father Luke is the scheduled celebrant this Wednesday.
4) Friday the 5th and 6th graders will attend reconciliation.

4) Mr. Fenoglio's dad will visit 5th grade for his annual Veteran's Day remembrance. He served in WWII and has some wonderful memories to share with the students. It is a blessing to have Mr. Fenoglio join us again this year.
