Dear Parents and Students, 2011-2012
Welcome to 3rd grade! I am looking forward to a wonderful school year. I’m dedicated to making 3rd grade a productive, spiritual, and memorable experience for you! Here is some information you might find helpful as we start this new school year together.
On a personal note, my name is Jane Porras and this is my sixth year to teach and third year with St. Andrew Catholic School.. My husband, Ricardo, and I have been married for over seven years. We have precious 6 year old daughter, Mattie Rose, who will be entering 1st grade here at SAS. I feel very blessed to have here in our awesome School. Phillip, our and a 3 ½ year old little boy, A.K.A. the TORNADO will be is so fun to see grow this year. He will also be on campus this year in PK 3. We also have two ferocious chocolate poodles, Tico and Coco. The lord has blessed us with an awesome family!

Your child will have a planner inside their 3 ring binder, this planner is used as a discipline folder and will need your signature each day. It is very important that you are also checking that your student is writing their assignments down in each designated section. I will be posting homework on the website and classroom announcements; however this planner is still our main source of communication.
