Assistant Principal

Saint Andrew Catholic School located in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking an Assistant Principal for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The desired applicant will help to fulfill the academic and spiritual mission of the school as a leader in partnership with the principal. The assistant principal fulfills the overall mission of the Catholic school by working with the principal in the management of the school, faculty, staff, and students with major emphasis on curriculum and instruction, as well as student discipline. This position reports to and is evaluated by the principal.

A candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a commitment to ongoing formation. The candidate should understand how a Catholic worldview permeates both curriculum and instruction and must be an intentional missionary disciple of Christ committed to providing a Gospel witness. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be pursuing a master’s degree, as well as pursuing 18 college hours in educational administration and supervision. Certifications/licenses will be accepted if in compliance with TCCBED requirements for an Assistant Principal position. Previous experience as a school administrator and a familiarity with Classical Education is preferred.

PE Teacher - Part-Time

Saint Andrew Catholic School in Fort Worth, is seeking a part-time PE teacher for the 2021-2022 School Year. The teacher fulfills the mission of Saint Andrew Catholic School by modeling the teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, providing excellent instruction, and nurturing the curiosity of each child.

The preferred candidate is mission-focused, compassionate, responsible, collaborative, and experienced. The educator must be willing to go the "extra mile" in the working environment. Interested educators should be passionate about working with children of all ages and create a positive learning environment for all. The candidate must possess good written and oral communication skills, hold a bachelor’s degree, and meet the minimum requirements for classroom teachers as set forth by the Diocese and TCCBED.
