Return to Campus
Dear Saint Andrew Catholic Community,
We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28).
How much comfort people would find and what happiness even in the midst of trials, if they only believed that everything that happens to them comes from My desire to do them good and that all is fitted to the measure of each one. Imagine having the faith that all is either willed or permitted by God.
Blessings on us all!
Please know, and be assured and reassured, we are doing ALL we can to alleviate fears and consternation in these COVID-19 times.
The culture is full of apprehension with good reason. It’s the universality of the human condition! We must be prudent and wise, cautiously entering the realm of the unknown and unpredictable with trust and faith in the Holy Spirit to help, guide and protect us, and our TREASURES, our children, our students.
I understand that there will be some concerns. It is a free country and we all have a right to speak our hearts and minds. However, statements should be edited for charity, as well as clarity. Wherever one goes, at least in my parish experiences, there is a certain group who will be vocal and leave comments on our communiques - I believe mostly well-meaning. Please bear with us as I ask you to trust our procedures for the opening and running the school is being directed by people who lovingly love the ministry of administration and teaching. What has been put out is done after much thought, reflection, discussion, and prayer.
We are working diligently to prepare for the arrival of students on campus as well as for the remote learning for this new academic year. The teachers are looking forward to seeing the children again in both capacities. The health and safety of the children are of upmost importance to us and we are implementing social distancing and sanitation practices for all areas of our campus. Faculty, staff, and parish staff are committed to ensuring that our Catholic faith is the foundation in all things we do here at SAS.
Complete and submit the First Quarter Saint Andrew Method of Instruction Form by clicking HERE. Please submit your preferences by Thursday, July 23, 2020 by 4:00 pm. Also, please see the two attached documents. One is the revised Planning For A Safe Return document and the other attachment is an explanation of the two available instructional options.
As we continue to work together with the Church, faculty, staff and families, we will inform you of any changes to the 2020-2021 academic as they arise.
St. Paul, “All is Grace.” This is the Catholic perspective, the Catholic eye. Let us continue to work together with blessed eyes, ears, speech, and hearts. You do this so well anyway.
