My foremost goal for your child is to develop a relationship with God and understand the Catholic faith. Academically, I will establish an environment that provides structure, phonetic awareness, love of books/literature, and opportunities to solve problems related to mathematical concepts and the real world. I will endeavor to nurture children in such a way that they will love school, love learning, and be grounded in the truths of the Bible.
I have a master’s degree in Elementary Education with additional certificates in Supervision of Special Education, Elementary, Mid-Management Administrator, Elementary Geology, Kindergarten, Language and/or Learning Disabilities, and Early Childhood Ed-Handicapped Child. I received my degrees from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I have 40 years of classroom experience. My husband, Rodney, and I have two grown children and 3 grandchildren.
