Birthday Treats for our Friars and Parish Staff
Starting in 2006, the Home and School included the friars and parish staff in the SAS Birthday Treats tradition to thank them for their support of our church and school.
At their monthly parish staff meeting/luncheon, we drop off their favorite treat with a big Happy Birthday Sign attached. They can share their treats at the meeting with their fellow workers. Some treats are homemade; others purchased and have included everything from angel food cake to miniature Snicker bars.
The staff and friars really enjoy our treats and are always so appreciative. If you would like to help, please click this spreadsheet LINK.
Next sign-up to bring a treat for someone. Once you have picked your month and the person you would like to bring something for, all you have to do is email and I will let you know their favorite cake/pie, or cookie, or candy. I will send you a reminder the Monday before the Thursday meeting. Drop your item off at the parish office before 11:00 a.m. on the meeting day along with a Happy Birthday note for the recipient.
We provide the treats all year long so feel free to volunteer at a time of the year that is convenient for you. Please call or email me if you have any questions. Thanks so much…Connie Davis 817-738-7747 (home) email@example.com.
