Registration of Students for 2012-2013
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 – Parents of current students will receive email notifications with login and password information to begin the re-enrollment process. Catholic Schools Week Activities
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 – Prospective parents are invited to our all school liturgy from 9-10am in the church. School-in-Action Personal Tours for prospective parents from 10am-Noon. National Junior Honor Society Induction for 7th & 8th grade inductees will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the church.
Thursday, February 2, 2012 – Grandparents / Grandfriends Day 8:30a.m to noon. Registration starts in the gym. (Free Valet Parking) Book Fair in the library will open at 7:30am. There will be a NOON DISMISSAL.
Book Fair Continues through Thursday, 2/2/2012.
One For Books – Please remember to bring in your donations for One For Books. We are using your donations to purchase books for the library at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School here in Fort Worth. Donations will be taken until Thursday at noon.
Upcoming NO SCHOOL for Preschool 4
In previous years, our preschool and kindergarten have ended two weeks before the end of our regular school year to allow for kindergarten screenings. In an effort to help families, this year, preschool will continue through the end of the normal school year. Because of the screening of our PK-4 students on February 17 and March 2, 2012, there will be no Pre-K 4 classes on February 17 and March 2, 2012. This will not affect Pre-K 3 classes which will be held as usual on those two days.

Mass – Wednesday, February 1, 2012 9:00 am in the church. Mrs. Crowder's class is preparing this week’s mass. Please remember to send items for the offertory for Social Ministry. Parents are always welcome at school masses; designated seating area for parents is upstairs in the choir loft, unless a special circumstance requires you to sit downstairs. Our scheduled celebrant is Fr. Tom.

February Rosary – Tuesday, February 7 at 1:00 Please join us in the Parish Hall, room 218. Our guest speaker this month is nationally known, Monica Ashour, MTS, M Hum; She is also a Saint Andrew Catholic School and Nolan Catholic alum. She will be speaking to us on the Theology of the Body and the Rosary. We will begin as always by praying the Rosary, followed by coffee and our speaker. Diocesan Inservice—NO SCHOOL – Friday, February 10, 2012. There will be no classes.

Save the Date
Save the Date for the 2012 Stephen Breen Spirit Games on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Nolan Catholic High School. The Spirit Games will begin with mass with Bishop Vann at 11:00 am. The Spirit Games will include activities such as Dodge Ball, Fear Factor, Amazing Race, Minute to Win It, Carnival Booths and much more!
St. Andrew Knights BBQ for your Super Bowl party?
The KCs will be selling brisket, ribs, and chopped BBQ in the Parish Hall on Sunday February 5th 8:00 to 11:00 AM or while supplies last. It will be cooked, vacuum packed & sold by the pound! And you thought the HAMS were good??!!

Boy Scout Troop 97 – To earn money for an upcoming BSA adventure the scouts are available for hire on weekends. The troop is offering yard maintenance and light handyman outdoor projects. We can rake leaves and remove those ugly dead bushes or small trees that have died due to the drought. Click HERE to view an informational flyer.

Ignite – February 12, 3-6pm (5pm Mass included in time) This monthly middle school youth group is for all of those in grades 7 and 8. We begin with Praise and Worship in the Church and then proceed to the gym to engage in conversation and activities based on the monthly theme. Snacks are provided during the afternoon. Youth can either be picked up at 4:45 at the gym or join each other at the 5pm Mass with reserved seating! It’s never too late to register, please contact Lisa Frank to sign up.
Diocesan Middle School Rally – No1b4Me—February 18, 10:30am – 8:30pm. This event is at Most Blessed Sacrament, 2100 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX. This first ever Diocesan Middle School Rally is sure to be a hit with all those in grades 6, 7, and 8! The fun and interactive day will focus on faith and fellowship and how technology fits into all of it. The day will consist of inflatables, games, keynote presenters, breakout sessions, and Mass. The cost is only $30 and includes a rally t-shirt and dinner (youth are asked to bring their own lunch, but drinks will be provided). Registration deadline is February 1.
