MISSION and CATHOLIC IDENTITY

Goal 1: Create a clearly defined mission and philosophy statement that reflects the vision of the school.

Goal 2: Carry out the mission and philosophy statements by catechizing the students/families to understand and live by these principles.

Goal 3: Provide opportunities outside the classroom for student faith formation, participation in liturgical and communal prayer, and action and service of social justice.

Goal 4: Demonstrate the mission/philosophy by becoming active and contributing members of the community at local, national and global levels through leadership and volunteer efforts.

Goal 5: Support students and families from other faiths who will benefit from the evangelization of our mission and philosophy.

Goal 6:  Develop a relationship with the TCU Catholic Community.

GOVERNANCE and LEADERSHIP 

Goal 1: Administration and Advisory Council will maintain a relationship with the Diocesan and parish canonical/educational leadership.

Goal 2: Advisory Council engages in formation, on-going training and self-evaluation to ensure faithful execution of their responsibilities.

Goal 3: Leadership develops and oversees personnel to exceed Diocesan standards.

Goal 4: Administration will effectively communicate to the school community.

Goal 5: Strengthen orientation activities for the new faculty and staff. 

Goal 6: Counseling department will create a Counseling Operations Handbook. 

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Goal 1: Review, assess, and determine future needs for all materials that support the curriculum including textbooks and resources. 

Goal 2: Administration will review, assess, and determine future needs for all materials that support the Specials curriculum including textbooks and resources.

Goal 3: Develop and utilize content assessments to drive instruction and differentiate curriculum to meet student needs.

Goal 4: Establish a vertical and horizontal alignment plan for all subject areas.

Goal 5: Create a campus wide writing plan with expectations at each grade level.

Goal 6: Provide professional development opportunities that are aligned with grade level and school wide academic goals.

OPERATIONAL VITALITY

Goal 1: Operate a fully functional Development and Advancement Office.

Goal 2: Plan and celebrate SAS 60th Anniversary Celebration.

Goal 3: Establish a Building Fund where 25% of all fundraising money will be allocated to the Building Fund.

Goal 4: Work towards only using 50% of Annual Fund Donations for the Operating Budget.

Goal 5: Parents will be knowledgeable of the budgeting process and the tuition cost-base/need-base model.

Goal 6: Create an Annual Fund Chair position.

Goal 7: Work with main donors, grandparents, and parishioners to raise additional money for tuition assistance or special projects of interest.

Goal 8: Write Development Operations Handbook.

TECHNOLOGY

Goal 1: FACTS (formerly RenWeb) and the school website will be utilized to its fullest extent to convey information to current and future families.  

Goal 2: Students will have greater exposure and use of technology.

Goal 3: Faculty/Staff will continue their growth in technology, demonstrate proficiency in technology systems, and infuse technology in teaching.

Goal 4: Administration will model and promote the effective integration of technology and information literacy.

Goal 5: Identify current inventory of technology in order to identify future needs.

FACILITIES 

Goal 1: A comprehensive Master Facility Plan will be developed for entire school campus

Goal 2: SAS will create a plan for a new 7th & 8th grade building in conjunction with the Master Facilities Planning Team.

Goal 3: SAS will create a plan for a regulation track and football/soccer field on campus in conjunction with the Master Facilities Planning Team.

Goal 4: Create a comprehensive external parking plan in conjunction with the Master Facilities Planning Team.
